Cécile Brillon Frattaroli

As an associate in the Energy team based in Paris, I work on public and environmental issues relating to the energy sector and also advise companies, investors and financing institutions on the successful realisation of their renewable energy projects.

As a lawyer with a background in public law, I advise developers, investors and financial institutions on the development of renewable energy projects such as wind, solar, biogas and biomass. I assist clients in securing environmental authorisations and in litigation proceedings relating to renewable energy projects before the French administrative courts.

I provide clients with due diligence and risk studies in connection with project financing, changes of control and acquisitions. I also assist and advise on the drafting and negotiation of all types of power purchase agreements.

Before joining Bird & Bird, as an engineer I worked for over 15 years in a trading room, hedging interest rate and exchange rate risks on project, asset, export finance.

I have a master's degree in public law from the University of Panthéon Sorbonne and an engineering degree from Telecom Sud Paris.
