Bird & Bird has advised Escala 24x7 on a successful cross-border corporate transaction, including the reorganisation of its group, by means of which Escala 24x7 shareholders sold 60% of the Escala 24x7 group to Stefanini Group. This transaction represents one of Stefanini's five largest investments in its history.
Escala 24x7 is a US-based IT services and cloud consulting company and a leading Amazon Web Services Premier Consulting Partner with a strong presence across Latin America. This strategic alliance will enable Stefanini to significantly expand its AWS cloud service offerings whilst accelerating Escala 24x7's growth and capitalising on the rapidly developing cloud market in the region. Escala 24x7, which serves over 300 clients across Latin America, expects to generate US$100 million in revenues in 2025.
Bird & Bird's Madrid team provided Escala 24x7 with comprehensive advice on M&A and tax matters relating to the cross-border reorganization and implementation of the transfer of a substantial part of its business in LATAM to Spain for the subsequent transfer of 60% of it to Stefanini Group.
