This seminar, held in English, is designed to provide international retail and consumer-facing businesses operating in Europe with essential know-how and tools on English contract law.
It is relevant for anyone in legal departments or commercial teams dealing with business-to-business contracts governed or influenced by English law. The session will be led by Bird & Bird partner and experienced presenter Andrew White, who will highlight core concepts, explain jargon and give practical illustrations. Andrew will be joined by lawyers from Bird & Bird's Retail & Consumer team, who will contribute valuable examples and insights relevant to the sector. In our Amsterdam session we will also briefly discuss the possibilities to bring disputes before the recently established Netherlands Commercial Court, a new court for international commercial disputes where proceedings will be conducted in the English language.
