As December approaches, we are pleased to invite you to an informal Advent breakfast, during which we will together examine the "new" provisions of the Agency Work Act that entered into force on October 1, 2022. The provisions imply that companies that hire workers from staffing agencies are obliged to offer these individuals until further notice employment after 24 months, or alternatively provide compensation in the form of two months' salary if hiring is not possible. This change will mainly affect client companies and staffing agencies, but may also have significant consequences for consultancy companies.
