I am a partner of Bird & Bird in the UK, and Global Head of our Privacy Solutions practice based in our San Francisco representative office. Bird & Bird Privacy Solutions is Bird & Bird's privacy consultancy arm, which does not provide legal services. I am one of the co-heads of our San Francisco office.

Under the GDPR, Data Protection Officers (DPO) shall directly report to the highest management level of the companies they support.

This often triggers questions such as who should be involved, what is the most relevant level of management to report to, what should be covered, when the reporting should take place, etc.

On Wednesday 30 September 2020, we hosted a webinar to cover how DPOs should address those questions.
