Aileen Altschäffl

As an associate and part of the Intellectual Property practice group in our Munich office, I advise and represent national and international clients on IP matters, focusing on patent infringement proceedings before German national courts and the Unified Patent Court (UPC).

Before being admitted to the bar and joining Bird & Bird in 2025, I studied law at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich (LMU) and completed my legal traineeship (Referendariat) at the Higher Regional Court of Munich.

During my legal traineeship, I gained experience in the Munich Patent Litigation team of which I am now a part, as well as at the corporate legal department of a leading automotive manufacturer.
