Alicja Urbanska

I am a junior associate in the Finance and Financial Regulations team.

I have been advising clients since 2020, specialising in financing transactions, including debt capital markets transactions. I have experience in banking and finance, capital markets and corporate law. I advise clients on the transformation of financing to "green financing" in accordance with LMA and ICMA standards. I also specialise in providing regulatory advice to the financial sector.

I participate in preparing documentation required to obtain financing. I prepare and negotiate draft financing documents, and collect and verify documents required as part of precedent and subsequent conditions.

I am responsible for preparing internal documentation for borrowers and I am involved in day-to-day legal assistance provided to clients as well as post-transactional advice.

I participate in establishing EMTN programmes for Polish issuers and the servicing of issues under these programmes, including the first issue of green mortgage bonds in Poland, as well as in credit financing transactions for the real estate and energy sectors.

Before joining Bird & Bird, I gained my professional experience at a banking and finance team of a renowned international law firm.
