About Me

I am a senior associate in our Intellectual Property group in London, with an emphasis on patent litigation for life sciences clients.

I have a particular focus on the pharmaceutical sector, having worked for a range of innovator, generic and biosimilar clients in proceedings before the High Court, Court of Appeal and the European Patent Office. This work has often involved co-ordination of multi-jurisdictional legal analysis across Europe and the US.

I have a Masters in Chemistry from the University of Oxford. This background allows me to grasp technical concepts quickly, allowing me to engage in meaningful discussions with scientific experts with a view to preparing expert reports and declarations.

Before joining Bird & Bird I spent 18 months on a part-time secondment to a multinational pharmaceutical client working on FTO and infringement analyses, strategy and coordination in relation to an extensive European Patent portfolio as well-as day-to-day coordination between in-house legal and multi-jurisdictional external counsel teams.
