As an associate in the Competition & EU Law practice in Brussels, I advise clients on a wide variety of competition and trade law issues.
Together with our dedicated team, I assist clients throughout the entire spectrum of EU and Belgian competition law proceedings. This includes adept handling of cartel investigations, abuse of dominance cases, state aid matters, and concentration control proceedings. Additionally, I advise clients in trade defence procedures, both before the European Commission and the Court of Justice of the EU.
Before joining Bird & Bird, I gained valuable experience as a case handler at the Belgian Competition Authority.
I hold a bachelor's degree from the University of Namur and a Master's degree from the University of Ghent. While pursuing my master's degree, I spent a semester at the University of Bergen in Norway. Fuelled by a profound interest in the dynamic field of competition and trade law, I pursued an LL.M. in European law and market integration at the University of Maastricht. In 2023, I further enhanced my knowledge of competition law with a postgraduate degree in Economics for Competition Law from King's College London.
I am a native Dutch speaker and fluent in French and English.
