Daniela Klimpfinger-Green

I am a Senior Data Protection Advisor in Bird & Bird's Privacy Solutions team in London. I am a qualified solicitor in England & Wales, hold a Master's degree in law (Mag.iur) from the University of Vienna, and am CIPP/E certified by the IAPP.

I specialise in helping global organisations design and implement practical, business-oriented privacy programmes. My practice focuses on GDPR/UK GDPR and e-Privacy compliance, data subject rights management, policy development, and incident response - delivering practical solutions that align with commercial objectives and operational realities.

I also advise clients in the AI and privacy space, supporting clients in navigating emerging regulatory frameworks and ethical considerations around AI-driven technologies.

Before joining Bird & Bird, I worked in the data protection and confidentiality department of an international consultancy in Vienna, where I was responsible for implementing and monitoring the internal data protection programme and advised on a broad range of compliance topics. Prior to that, I worked as an associate in the employment law practice group of an international law firm in Austria, where I gained practical legal experience.

This experience contributes to my comprehensive understanding of Austrian and European regulations. My specific knowledge of employment law also contributes to a good understanding of data protection requirements in the context of human resources
