Dr. Andreas Obermeier

I am a patent attorney and Partner in our Intellectual Property group in Munich, focusing on inorganic, organic and pharmaceutical chemistry.

I have a vast experience in drafting patent applications and correspondence with Patent Offices and foreign colleagues. Over the years I have also gathered deep knowledge of infringement and revocation actions before the European Patent Office, German Patent Office and German Courts. My practice also includes the management of IP portfolios and the preparation of FTO analysis.

The technical focus of my work is on fine chemicals, pharmaceuticals (e.g. sildenafil, adalimumab, trastuzumab and pertuzumab) and process technologies (e.g. catalytic production of acetic acid).
