Francesco Bianco

I am an associate in the finance & financial regulation department, based in Milan.

I gained relevant experience in project, corporate and acquisition finance matters, advising major national and international players – including sponsors, borrowers, funds and financial institutions – with financing and refinancing deals, mostly related to the energy and infrastructure sectors.

In such contexts, my activity is primarily focused on drafting and negotiating financing agreements, including agreements in connection with bond structured transactions, and related finance and security contracts.

Before joining Bird & Bird, I worked for a leading international law firm focusing on project finance matters in the energy, infrastructure and shipping sectors and, since 2019, I co-operate as honorary fellow in the Alternative Disputes Resolution department of the Milano Bicocca University.
