I am an associate within the Intellectual Property team of the Milan Office and I provide non-contentious assistance primarily in the Life Sciences sector.
Prior to joining Bird & Bird in 2024, I worked at leading national and international law firms within teams specialised in the field of intellectual property, where I dealt with a wide variety of IP-related matters, both judicial and extrajudicial. Over the years, I developed the ability to understand clients' needs and address them with a concrete approach aimed at finding the best way to enhance and protect their intangible assets.
In 2023, I worked at the European Commission within the Intangible Economy Unit of Directorate-General for Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs, in charge of implementing the 2020 IP Action Plan. Through this experience, I have been able to have a first-hand insight into the legislative initiatives of the moment, thus gaining a clear understanding of what are the priorities for the European legislature in the field of intellectual property for the coming years. I have also strengthened my knowledge of the Single Market acquis, as well as of EU law and decision-making processes within EU bodies and institutions. Moreover, having worked in a multidisciplinary environment has allowed me to develop the ability to analyse complex situations that require both qualitative and quantitative methods skills.
I am a graduate of the Università degli Studi di Milano and during University I spent one semester studying in the Netherlands.
I am a native Italian speaker; I am fluent in English, and I have a good knowledge of French.
