As a legal director in our Intellectual Property group in London, my practice focuses on patent litigation, assisting clients before the UK Patents Court and Court of Appeal and coordinating multi-jurisdictional patent actions as well as providing strategic advice on forward looking projects.
I also provide IP advice in commercial and corporate issues arising from clients' new or existing projects in which IP is an important theme. In addition, I have a growing interest in Life Sciences regulation.
Throughout my time at Bird & Bird I have been involved with a variety of pro bono initiatives. Most recently, as a case officer in the IPEC's IP Pro Bono scheme, I was one of four of Bird & Bird's UK IP lawyers who volunteered their services to help small businesses and individuals involved in IP disputes, providing support before the dispute became a court case.
I joined Bird & Bird in 2011 after completing my training contract with Herbert Smith LLP. Prior to that, I had a scientific education, graduating in 2005 with a Masters in Chemistry from Oxford.
