István Szalay-Csala

I am a junior associate in the Corporate/M&A team of the Budapest office.

I graduated from the Faculty of Law of Eötvös Loránd University with a specialisation in civil law in 2022.

Since then, I have actively participated in numerous corporate restructurings and in various cross-border M&A transactions, in particular by coordinating complex legal due diligence procedures involving teams from multiple jurisdictions and drafting the related transaction documents.

I also have experience advising creditors in liquidation proceedings and am involved in various litigation matters.

I speak English, in addition to my native Hungarian.
