As an associate and member of the employment team in the Düsseldorf office, I advise our domestic and foreign clients on all matters of individual and collective employment law.
My practice encompasses advising clients on a broad range of individual employment law challenges, including the drafting and negotiation of employment contracts, managing disciplinary procedures and dismissals, and facilitating settlement discussions. Additionally, I specialise in works council and collective bargaining matters, particularly addressing complex co-determination issues within corporate structures.
This includes, for example, advising our clients on various individual employment law issues that arise, e.g. drawing up employment contracts, assisting with warnings or terminations and supporting with settlement negotiations. I also advise on matters relating to works constitution and collective bargaining law, in particular on issues arising in the context of co-determination in companies. For example, I have worked on restructuring projects involving the relocation of businesses or company agreements, e.g. on the subject of home or mobile office.
Before joining Bird & Bird as an associate, I gained experience as a qualified legal trainee in a committee secretariat of the German Bundestag and as a research assistant in a medium-sized medical law firm and after completing my second degree, I already joined my team at Bird & Bird as a legal assistant.
My recent experience includes advising on restructuring initiatives involving business relocations, supporting with Internal Investigations and developing works agreements on contemporary workplace arrangements, such as remote working and flexible office policies.
