Marta Stanislawska

As a counsel in the Finance & Financial Regulation team in Warsaw, I am an expert in financial sector regulation.

I have been advising clients since 2008, and specialise in advising financial institutions, particularly banks, FinTech sector entities and loan companies, both in regard to corporate governance, and products and services offered by those companies.

I support financial sector players in adjusting their activities to changing legal requirements. In particular, I have advised banks and other companies in the financial sector on the implementation of PSD2, AMLD and MiFID2 regulations as well as requirements of banking outsourcing and payment outsourcing. I am currently advising on the Polish API project.

I prepare legal opinions on the compliance of new business lines and innovative technological solutions implemented by financial institutions in order to meet legal requirements.

I advise new entities starting their business on the financial market in identifying regulatory requirements and obtaining the necessary licenses and permits.

I conduct training and workshops on the PSD2, AMLD and MiFID2 regulations.

I am a co-author of the commentary to the Consumer Credit Act and the commentary to the Payment Services Act.

Before joining our firm, I worked at the Economic Division for Bankruptcy and Remedy at the District Court for the Capital City of Warsaw, as well as in several Warsaw law firms.
