As partner in our Hamburg office, I am a certified specialist lawyer in public procurement law, with a practice speciality in healthcare, defence and security and transportation.
I advise public authorities and private companies from healthcare, defence and security as well as transport on all manner of procurement and contract law. For several years now, I have been instrumental in large-volume tenders for contracts in accordance with SGB V (German social security code, Volume 5).
In addition, I advise bidders in federal procurement procedures on SPNV transport contracts, the related vehicle procurement and the granting of concessions. I am an expert in structuring and implementing complex negotiation procedures. These include tendering procedures for the procurement of IT hardware and services in the field of health telematics, as well as those in relation to the conclusion of high-profile marketing, media and event services.
In the defence and security sector, I support national and international companies in their successful participation in federal tendering procedures. I have completed secondments with a number of different clients, supporting and advising them in-house during the implementation of challenging tendering procedures.
Before joining our firm again in 2013, I worked for three years as a lawyer and deputy head of procurement in a German public company with nationwide operations. My role was to oversee all kinds of procurement processes in legal and economic terms and to provide comprehensive procurement, contract and social law advice. The focus of my activities was on the conception, preparation and execution of complex tendering procedures, in particular in relation to consulting and marketing services.
