I am an associate in our Brussels Corporate & Finance group in Brussels, advising clients on a wide range of corporate, financial, and commercial matters.

As an associate in the Corporate & Finance group, I provide advice and assist on a wide range of corporate, financial, and commercial matters, including M&A transactions, (commercial) contract negotiations and regulatory compliance.

Building strong and effective client relationships is at the core of our practice group. I strive to understand my clients' unique goals and challenges, ensuring that my advice is practical, strategic, and aligned with their business needs.

Through clear communication, a proactive mindset, and a dedication to excellence, I aim to build lasting partnerships with my clients and help them navigate the evolving legal and business landscape with confidence.

My passion for the legal profession stems from a desire to solve complex problems and help clients achieve their objectives. I am particularly drawn to the dynamic world of financial and corporate transactions, where each case offers a unique opportunity to innovate, adapt, and deliver impactful results.

I find great satisfaction in handling cross-border matters, as they provide the opportunity to collaborate closely with colleagues from Bird & Bird offices across the globe.

I obtained my Master of Laws at the University of Antwerp and completed an LL.M. at the Panthéon-Assas University in Paris. Prior to joining Bird & Bird, I gained professional experience in leading law firms in Brussels and in Paris.

Alongside my legal practice, I am also an assistant teacher at KU Leuven.

• Advised Patria, a Finnish defence and technology company, in its acquisition of ILIAS Solutions.
• Advised an American private equity fund in the acquisition of a 4% shareholding in three Belgian pharmaceutical companies.
• Advised a Belgian insurance company in its EUR 17.4 million investment in a mutual insurance association in the healthcare sector.
• Advised a multilateral financial institution in a USD 20 million Shariah-compliant financing transaction with a Turkish investment bank.
• Advised a Luxembourg bank in a EUR 45.5 million senior secured loan facility, including structuring an insurance claims pledge agreement.
• Advised a Chinese investment company in connection with multiple pledge agreements in a Belgian biosciences company.
• Represented a US bank in connection with a USD 40 million financing transaction in Belgian and Dutch technology companies.
