Nelli Lesonen-Tulkki

I am an associate in our Employment group in Helsinki. I assist both our domestic and international clients in navigating a broad range of employment law matters.

I'm happy to help our clients with a wide range of employment-related issues throughout the entire employment lifecycle, from drafting employment contracts to termination and everything in between. My area of expertise lies in co-operation procedures and change negotiations. I also assist with employment law matters related to mergers and acquisitions.

Prior to joining Bird & Bird, I worked at the Ministry of Employment and Economic Affairs in the Co-operation Ombudsman's Office. This experience in the public sector gave me valuable insight into regulatory oversight, enabling me to support clients in matters involving government authorities. In addition to employment law, I have experience in family law, which helped me develop strong people skills.

My goal is to provide solution-oriented and practical advice to our clients, both in day-to-day matters and in complex legal challenges. I strive to build strong, trust-based relationships with clients, ensuring that our collaboration is smooth and effective. Ultimately, my aim is to deliver the best possible outcomes for our clients' businesses.
