About Me
As a partner in our Corporate & Finance group in Brussels, I am a highly experienced negotiator of corporate and financial transactions and an expert adviser on financial regulations.
I have a recognised expertise in mergers and acquisitions, private equity, venture capital, joint ventures, securities offerings and take-over bids, as well as in project and acquisition finance. I also assist clients on their compliance with financial regulations and in corporate and financial litigation, including shareholders' disputes, directors' liability and cases relating to financial products and services.The feedback I am proudest of is the ability to translate business goals into contractual terms, regulatory strategies or dispute resolution, and to find solutions to the most intricate questions or situations.
I have a legal and business management educational background and teach at both the Law Faculty and the Solvay Business School in Brussels. Over the years, I have written and spoken widely on corporate and financial law topics. I also serve on the Board of the Solvay Business Schools Alumni.
I speak English, French, Dutch and German, as well as (but less impressively...) a few other languages.
