As an experienced renewable energy and financing specialist I advise companies, investors and financing institutions on the successful realisation of their projects with a particular knowledge of the French and German market.

I mainly work across corporate, financing, project-related and investment matters. This includes advising project developers, utilities or aggregators or industrials on regulatory and contractual (off-take contracts, ( PPA or hydrogen), construction (FIDIC, EPC), technical and commercial management) aspects. I advise actors in complex offshore and hydrogen projects. On a regular basis, I work for investors on M&A transactions (wind farms, solar, hydrogen, biogas, biomass) drafting PPAs and Corporate PPAs, providing for Due Diligence, acquisition contracts (SPA) and Financing. I also advise French and international banks and Investment Funds on all aspects of project financing, including both French and German financing documentation.
I am leading Bird & Bird's international (green) hydrogen group, advising companies from all industries and sectors on hydrogen related matters.
A regular speaker and author on energy related topics, I am a member of the « Women in Green Hydrogen » network, the French Wind (FEE) and Renewable Energy (SER) organisations and have been a member of the Steering Committee of the French German Office for Energy Transition (OFATE). I also lectured at Paris II Panthéon-Assas University (Paris), the Institut de Droit Comparé (Paris) and Humboldt University (Berlin).
In 2020 the book "Green Banking" was published, where I covered the « French Market » .
I am fluent in negotiation and drafting in French, German and English and qualified to practice as both an Avocate in France (Paris Bar) and Rechtsanwältin (Frankfurt Bar) in Germany.

• Advising Hy24 and Mirova in their EUR 200 million investment in green hydrogen pioneer Hy2gen AG, in partnership with CDPQ and Technip Energies. The capital will be used for the construction of facilities in several jurisdictions across Europe, producing green hydrogen-based fuels – or 'e-fuels' – for maritime and ground transport, aviation and industrial applications. The investment is the largest private green hydrogen-focused capital raise to date. This innovative and significant transaction for the future of green hydrogen in Europe was a great opportunity to combine our private equity expertise with our hydrogen sector knowledge to perform a multi-jurisdiction Legal Due Diligence in a cross-border transaction.
• Advising Norddeutsche Landesbank and SaarLB on a financing and change of control portfolio deal of eight project companies combining more than 100 MW installed wind energy in France.
• Advising BayWa r.e. on the acquisition of two windfarm projects in France.
• Advising Volkswind GmbH for the financing and due diligence process of windfarms in France.
• Advising an international developer on the framework of insolvency proceedings of German windturbine manufacturer Senvion GmbH.
• Advised NordLB on the framework of an onshore windfarm financing.
• Advised an international Bank with regards to a change of control operation of a French onshore windfarm.
• Advising Cable Manufacturer with regards to an RTE offshore tender for cabling French offshore projects.
• Advised Envitec AG in regards to several French biogas installations.
• Advising Norddeutsche Landesbank on the framework of a portfolio transaction with regards to a French onshore windfarm.
