I am an Associate in the Intellectual Property Group in London with a particular focus on the life sciences and healthcare sectors.
My keen interest in all things life sciences and healthcare stems from my scientific background, as I studied pharmacology at university, as well as my intrigue in the way groundbreaking research and innovation impacts health outcomes and quality of life.
My practice consists of both contentious and non-contentious matters across the life sciences product-to-market cycle.
My experience includes patent litigation in the English High Court and Federal Court of Australia, which involve mRNA vaccines, electrochemical treatments, biopharmaceuticals and medical devices.
I advise on a variety of commercial and corporate matters that are IP-rich and involve complex regulatory issues, including research collaborations, and licensing and supply arrangements. I have worked on transactions involving businesses that concern medical devices, pharmaceuticals, software, agrochemicals, healthcare services provision, etc.
I also advise on regulatory issues, such as the regulation of pharmaceuticals and medical devices, advertising and promotions, and product compliance.
I am an editor of Bird & Bird Patent Hub blog, and a co-author of the 'Guide to EU and UK Pharmaceutical Regulatory Law' (Kluwer Law International), along with my European/UK colleagues.
