I graduated from Singapore Management University and was called to the bar in 2022. I have worked on matters involving dispute resolution and corporate transactions as well as general advisory work.

I am an associate with Bird & Bird ATMD with over three years of experience practising in the field of Restructuring and Insolvency. Since I was admitted to the Singapore bar in 2022, I have acted for and advised debtors, creditors and insolvency professionals in both distressed and insolvency situations. I have experience in both contentious and non-contentious matters, transactional work including restructurings and general corporate advisory work, and working with international counsels from various jurisdictions.

• Acting for the respondent in the milestone cases of (1) Ascentra Holdings, Inc (in official liquidation) v SPGK PTE LTD [2023] SGCA 32, where the Singapore Court of Appeal held that the UNCITRAL model law on cross-border insolvency should be interpreted broadly to include foreign proceedings concerning companies that are neither insolvent nor severely financial distressed, and (2) Ascentra Holdings, Inc (in official liquidation v SPGK Pte Ltd [2024] SGCA 2 where the respondent was successful in obtaining the termination of the automatic stay in the recognition application under the UNCITRAL model law on cross-border insolvency.
• Acting for and advising the liquidators of ITNL Offshore Pte. Ltd. and ITNL International Pte. Ltd., which are Singapore subsidiaries of IL&FS Transportation Networks Limited, an India-based company involved in the development and implementation of transport infrastructure, in connection with the liquidation of the companies.
• Acted for the Kreuz Group, a leading global integrated subsea services business involved in the regional subsea, offshore and marine diving space.
• Acting for and advising the joint and several private trustees of the estate of Lim Lie Hoa also known as Lim Le Hoa also known as Lily Arief Husni in Ong Jane Rebecca v Lim Lie Hoa [2023] SGHC 33 where the Singapore High Court had considered the relevant principles in an application under section 335 of the Insolvency, Restructuring and Dissolution Act 2018. BlackOak LLC was successful in representing the applicants in their application for, amongst others, an order that the respondents provide inspection of the relevant bankers' books.
• Acting for and advising the liquidator of Midas Holdings Ltd., a company previously listed on the Mainboard of the SGX, in connection with the liquidation of the company and potential claims which may be brought by the company.
