As a specialist transactional IP lawyer and partner in our Intellectual Property practice in London, I work on complex, IP-rich transactions across a range of sectors.
Acting for private equity firms and corporate clients, I advise on the IP and tech aspects of high-stakes transactions including M&A, equity capital market, spin-outs, investment rounds, restructurings, joint ventures, collaborations and financings.
I also have considerable experience of advising in stand-alone complex, high-value contracts commercialising IP rights, including agreements for licensing and transferring intellectual property, and brand co-existence agreements. I also conduct IP audits for our clients and provide strategic advice.
I have a scientific background, with a first class MSc in chemistry from Durham University. Qualifying in 2005 into the IP team at a 'magic circle' firm, I joined Bird & Bird in 2006, which was also the year I gained a Postgraduate Diploma in Intellectual Property Law.
