Stage of Implementation 

The Slovak Ministry of Justice prepared a new bill intended to implement the Directive. The bill has been finally approved (including the amendments during the process related to postpone of the effectiveness) by the Slovak Parliament on 21st of June 2023 and the date for the act to become effective is 25th of July 2023, despite the fact that the president of the country did not recommend to approve the bill in the current wording.
