Embrace is our multicultural employee-led network that aims to support the advancement of racial and cultural diversity across the firm. Embrace seeks to foster a safe space for members of, and allies to, minority cultural and racial backgrounds.
Within Embrace, we focus on three key arms:
- Perspectives and Policy – actively engaging with HR to focus on curating diverse and inclusive policies, training programmes and recruitment initiatives across the firm.
- Awareness and events – celebrating diversity and educating staff by delivering events and releasing internal comms
- Community and Outreach – engaging with charities and like-minded organisations to collaborate on community outreach projects and volunteering opportunities

Embracing the Conversation - Islamophobia Awareness Month
In a special collaboration between the Muslim Faith Group and the Embrace network, we are excited to share the latest Embracing the Conversation podcast hosted by Business Development Manager Najat Jebari and featuring Privacy Legal Counsel Adilah Ilyas at Santander to commemorate Islamophobia Awareness Month. Adilah sheds light on her experiences and perspectives around Muslim inclusion in the workplace and what her Pakistani heritage means to her.
