All Eyes on Europe | How NZIA and IAA are changing the European market for non-EU manufacturers

Europe is tightening its regulatory framework: With the Net-Zero Industry Act (NZIA) already in force and the Industrial Accelerator Act (IAA) now announced for 25 February 2026, market access for energy transition technologies and CO₂-intensive industries is undergoing fundamental change.

For many foreign manufacturers, this raises the urgent question: Will it become significantly more difficult to enter the European market – and to survive in it?

In our seminar ‘All Eyes On Europe,’ we shed light on the key developments and their practical consequences:

  • NZIA resilience mechanism: New rules for public procurement and tenders
  • Origin determination: Why the Union Customs Code is becoming a strategic issue
  • IAA proposal: EU content requirements, priority projects and low-carbon product labelling
  • ‘Made in Europe’ preference: How far does the new EU policy go – and what does it mean for foreign suppliers in technology and industrial value chains?

One thing is clear: Europe is not closing its markets – but the rules of the game are changing rapidly. Companies active in Europe's clean tech and industrial sectors must now adapt to a new regulatory reality.

This in-person event is a joint event with the CUB (Union for the Promotion of Chinese Companies in Bavaria) and will be held in German and Chinese.
