The European Commission published a proposal for the revision of the Cybersecurity Act. The EU Cybersecurity Act created a unified, EU-wide certification framework for ICT products, services, and processes. The impact of the proposed changes could be profound. Until now, the legislation has focused on two areas: the mandate of ENISA, the EU’s cybersecurity agency, and the rules governing certification schemes for ICT products. The new proposal seeks to expand this scope with a mandatory horizontal ICT supply chain framework to address security risks linked to third countries, streamlining the certification framework, while simplifying and streamlining the EU's cybersecurity regulatory framework, marking a major development in Europe’s digital security landscape.
Join us on Monday 2 February at 9:30 to 10:30 CET, as we analyse the revised proposal and explore what it means for the future of cybersecurity across the EU.
