Reports of Trade Mark Cases for CIPA December 2020

In this month’s report, we review the High Court’s guidance on geographical collective trade marks in Foundation for the Protection of the Traditional Cheese of Cyprus Named Halloumi v Babel Sajt Kft.([2020] EWHC 2858 (Ch)). We also report the decision in Pliteq Inc & Anr v iKoustic Ltd & Anr ([2020] EWHC 2564 (IPEC)), where the recorder rules on trade mark infringement and passing off claims in the context of bait and switch selling.
