I am an associate in Bird & Bird's Intellectual Property Group in London where I advise clients on a range of transactional IP issues.
My focus is on non-contentious IP work across a range of industry sectors, including media, sport, technology, retail, hospitality and life sciences.
I advise on the protection and exploitation of all IP rights and work and advise on IP elements of commercial contracts, primarily those relating to new product and technology development. I assist brands with new ways to commercialise their IP, including via licensing, R&D, collaboration and NFT arrangements.
I regularly support clients with the IP aspects of corporate transactions, and IP specific issues that arise during the due diligence process of acquisitions, and investments.
During my time at Bird & Bird I have undertaken a number of 'virtual' secondments, which has helped me to appreciate the concerns of in-house teams and our clients' needs.
I joined Bird & Bird in 2018 and qualified into the Intellectual Property Group in 2020. I'm a member of the firm's retail and media groups, and I've contributed to the Chartered Institute of Patent Attorneys' Journal.
