As a member of the Dutch tax team I advise companies and organizations on a broad range of taxes, particularly in relation to corporate income tax, international tax law, income tax, withholding taxes and VAT.
Tax law is a field that is constantly evolving. In recent years, we have seen an increase in the tendency of supranational organizations such as the OECD and the EU to leave their mark on the national tax rules of states. These fast-paced developments are something I find very interesting to keep track of. For example, I wrote my thesis on CFC-rules. At the same time, it is becoming more and more difficult for companies, but also for private individuals, to comply with the increasingly complicated legislation. I take great satisfaction in guiding clients through the jungle of tax rules so that they can focus on their core business.
