I am a Data Protection Advisor in the Privacy Solutions team of Bird & Bird in London.
I am a dual-qualified solicitor (England & Wales and Lebanon) with cross-border experience advising multinational clients on data protection, AI regulation, and cybersecurity compliance across UK, EU and Middle Eastern jurisdictions.
My experience bridges legal practice and technology entrepreneurship. As a former co-founder of an AI-driven due diligence platform for VCs and PEs, I was involved in building both the company and the underlying technology, giving me a distinctive perspective that combines entrepreneurial strategy with legal rigour. Alongside my professional practice, I am also a researcher for Queen Mary University's Cloud Legal Project, focusing currently on AI contracts.
I have an LLM in Intellectual Property Law from Queen Mary University of London, an MA in Law from the University of Law and a Lebanese law degree from Saint Joseph University of Beirut.
I am passionate about legal innovation and emerging technologies, particularly the intersection of AI, data protection and commercial law. My approach is client-focused, pragmatic and business-oriented, combining technical understanding with legal expertise to deliver practical solutions.
