As an associate in our international Public Procurement group in Denmark, I specialise in public procurement law and advise both public authorities and tenderers on all phases of the procurement process.
Being part of the Danish Public Procurement group in an international law firm gives me an interesting working day involving both national and international cases. I work with EU and competition law, construction law and contract law daily, and I have also been involved in cases related to several of our key sectors such as Energy & Utilities, and Technology & Communication.
I assist contracting authorities and companies with the planning and the implementation of all phases of a tender process. I therefore have extensive knowledge of the preparation and quality assurance of tender strategies, tender material, negotiations with tenderers, as well as evaluation of requests for pre-qualification and tenders. I also advise bidders on the design and submission of tenders, which gives me a great understanding of the bidding process from both sides.
I started as a student assistant at Bird & Bird after studying as an exchange student in France in the spring of 2019. The work was hugely rewarding and exciting, which is why I also made the decision to move from Aarhus to Copenhagen to start as an associate at Bird & Bird.
