Charlotte Zheng

I am an associate in our Intellectual Property group based in Beijing.

As a patent attorney, I specialise in patent drafting and patent analysis in the fields of communication, electronics and AI, etc. I have handled contentious and non-contentious patent matters in China, including patent prosecution matters, invalidation proceedings and administrative court appeals. I also advise clients on multi-jurisdictional infringement litigations and other IP matters.

I have solid technical background and am especially seasoned at handling IP dispute resolution related to complex technologies such as communications, audio and video coding, automotive and electronic circuit technologies. In the standard essential patent (SEP) field, I have rich experience in representing patent holders to defend and enforce patent right in China.

I majored in Information and Computational Science for Bachelor and in Electronics and Communication Engineering for Master. I work in Mandarin, English and French and I can read Japanese and German.
