I am an associate in the Privacy & Data Protection team in our Warsaw office.
I have been advising clients on data protection matters since 2017. My interest in the field stems from the omnipresence of data protection issues in organisations' day-to-day business operations. My experience covers all areas of business, from employer duties to running marketing campaigns, negotiating contracts and implementing modern technological solutions. It is the interface between law and technology that makes this area of law particularly interesting to me.
I provide legal advice to both Polish and international clients from a wide range of sectors, including e-commerce, media, IT, technology, banking and finance. As a privacy protection lawyer, I also advise clients in M&A transactions.
I participate in proceedings conducted by the President of the Polish Data Protection Authority, and in cases before the Regional Administrative Court in Warsaw concerning violations of personal data protection and requests made by data subjects. I also assist clients in implementing documentation and solutions to ensure that their data processing complies with the GDPR requirements.
I have participated in or managed numerous international projects, including related to new services or solutions in a number of markets. Due to their complexity, these projects required extraordinary involvement and deep understanding of the client's business.
Clients value me for my practical approach to implementing data protection solutions that facilitate their implementation of projects and ideas whilst ensuring legal compliance.
Before joining Bird & Bird, I gained professional experience in both Polish and international law firms.
