I am a lawyer in the Finance and Financial Regulation group in Sydney, having previously been seated in the Technology Transactions and Dispute Resolution groups.
Within the Finance and Financial Regulation group, I engage in funding, restructuring and insolvency work, advising on administrations, liquidations, securitisation claims and advice, and distressed situations.
I also participate in debt financings, including by syndicated facilities.
Prior to my role at Bird & Bird, I was a Judge's Associate, managing Chambers for a federal judge who heard bankruptcy, consumer protection, and general federal law matters.
I have also worked in Financial Services Regulation and Litigation at a large national firm, focusing on contentious and compliance matters for insurers, banks, funders, foreign currency and cryptocurrency exchanges, investment funds, superannuation funds, and regulators.
Having experienced both transactional and litigious engagements, I approach advice in a manner that is conscious of risk and mitigation strategies, though ensures the goals and creative ambitions of clients are achieved.
I enjoy ensuring the commercial objectives and realities of clients direct my advice, and communicating commercially, succinctly, and responsively.
