About Me

I am a partner in our London Dispute Resolution team, and bring many years' experience of advising clients on a wide range of commercial disputes and risk management issues, often with an international element.

I focus, in particular, on disputes in the technology, communications and financial services sectors. These include disputes and risk management issues in relation to software issues, the delivery and implementation of business critical systems, including data and communications networks, and complex financial products. As a member of the firm's Transformational Projects Group, I have been involved in some of the world's largest and most complex projects advising on risk mitigation and dispute resolution strategies. I also have extensive experience of public procurement challenges and regularly advise clients (both customers and suppliers) on challenges in sectors as diverse as communications, health, defence and IT services.

In addition to legal expertise, complex commercial disputes require effective project management. As co-head of the Dispute Resolution Group, I work with others to ensure that matters are properly resourced and that we utilise state of the art tools in areas such as document management, analytics and financial reporting to ensure that clients have available all relevant information, that matters are managed efficiently and that we secure the best outcome for the client.

I strongly believe in resolving disputes outside of the courts where possible and have a successful track record of resolving claims through alternative dispute resolution including mediation, arbitration and expert determination.
