As an associate in our regulatory and competition & EU team in The Hague, I use my broad knowledge of competition law and regulatory matters to advise our clients on both contentious and non-contentious matters.
Businesses dealing in the technology and communications sector often see themselves confronted with complex rules and regulations, having to deal with both European and national laws. In my regulatory and competition law practice I regularly advise both incumbents as well as entrants in these sectors. This has offered me valuable experience in advising clients on complex day-to-day issues, as well as in court proceedings.
Clients benefit from my regulatory background, working as counsel for the Dutch Authority for Consumers and Markets (ACM). I am experienced in dealing with European and national laws and committed to providing my clients with practical and concrete advice. I do so in competition matters such as cartel and concentration control proceedings as well as in regulatory matters such as AMM-proceedings, access to networks and issues related to the roll-out of fibre-networks.
During my studies of International Economic Law and International Business Law, I focused on both Competition Law as well as regulatory matters. I use this knowledge, combined with my regulatory background, to work together with clients to reach their full potential in regulated markets.
I chose to become a lawyer at our firm because of our great reputation in the Tech & Comms sector. I am committed to living up to that reputation.
I am a member of our Tech & Comms and EU & Competition Groups.
