I am a Counsel in Bird & Bird's International HR Services department in the Madrid office.
I am a labour lawyer advising international companies with ongoing employment-related issues and litigation.
During my eight years of professional experience in law firms specialised in labour law, I have supported multiple clients, both domestic and international, in all kinds of labour-related matters, including restructuring, dismissals, Social Security issues, professional classification, as well as ongoing advice regarding daily HR management, among others.
I have also supported clients in collective consultations, which has allowed me to acquire practical skills and knowledge in order to solve company-employee conflicts, always trying to conciliate the interests at stake in the manner that most benefits my clients.
Additionally, I have represented clients in multiple judicial proceedings, both in labour and administrative matters, which has also strengthened my practical vision of this profession.
As a labour lawyer, I have always been especially interested in international clients, trying to provide them with a simple, but detailed, overview of the Spanish legal regime applicable to labour relations, which varies greatly from one country to another.
That is why one of the greatest advantages of being part of our team is that, unlike other law firms in Spain, Bird & Bird has a multi-disciplinary team and a wide international network that allows us to offer thorough analyses, especially to clients present in various countries, since we work on a daily basis with our colleagues in other countries, in order to provide our clients with coordinated advice.
