Kennedy Taylor-Louisson

As an associate in the Sydney Real Estate team, I have been involved in a wide range of property developments, acquisitions, disposals and disputes within most Australian jurisdictions.

I have experience acting for both publicly listed and privately owned companies in large-scale off-the-plan transactions, property due diligence enquiries and complex commercial and retail leasing transactions and disputes. I have worked closely with various property developers in my previous roles both in-house and in private practice.

I regularly collaborate with local colleagues and those from other international locations to advise on a range of complex, cross-border property and finance transactions.

I enjoy assisting clients in obtaining commercially favourable outcomes across a broad range of transactions within the real estate and financial services sectors.

• My career in the industry started with my work with Heron Resources Limited on a large-scale contractual dispute relating to the development and construction of Heron's $109 million dollar zinc and copper project in NSW.
• I recently assisted with the completion of a mixed-use off the plan development in St Leonards that had a project value of $1.3 billion dollars and the development of a residential site in St Leonards that had an estimated project value of $550 million dollars.
• I recently assisted with the acquisition of a large development site in Macquarie Park that has approval for the construction of a large number of residential units along with a ground floor retail precinct.
