Lassi Inki

I am a Senior Associate in our Dispute Resolution Group in Helsinki and advise clients on real estate related matters and on management of their disputes.

I joined Bird & Bird originally in 2017. My advisory focuses on providing clients with day-to-day legal advice within real estate asset management as well as within different types of real estate related projects. In addition, I have been advising our clients on management of their disputes, including litigation and arbitration, as well as on insolvency related questions. My expertise is built especially around leasing, construction and other real estate related contractual matters.

In 2023, I temporarily left Bird & Bird and served as District Judge at the District Court of Helsinki for nearly a year. In 2019–2020, I gained the experience required for the said role by serving as Trainee District Judge at another Finnish District Court for one year.

Having expertise in dispute resolution and insolvency allows me to have a wide-ranging and future-oriented perspective when drafting contracts and assessing contractual and other risks for clients.

I hold a Master of Laws degree from the University of Helsinki. In addition, I have studied law at the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne and undertaken translation studies at the University of Turku. I am a member of the Finnish Bar Association.

In addition to Finnish, I speak fluent English, Swedish and French.
