I am a lawyer in our Intellectual Property practice in Milan, assisting clients in relation to litigation concerning patent, trademarks, and trade secrets, as well as on EU regulatory and procedural compliance, with focus on antitrust, IPR and unfair competition matters.
Prior to joining Bird & Bird in 2021, I worked in a US international law firm and obtained an LL.M. in European Legal Studies at the College of Europe in Bruges, Belgium. Furthermore, I gained valuable expertise in EU Law through a traineeship ('Blue Book') within the Legal Service of the European Commission, in Brussels.
This provided me the ability to deal with EU case law and legislative process. Hence, I am able to help clients in front of forthcoming EU regulations, including giving inputs to the legislator itself, for example in the present digital, industrial innovation and green transition.
Having steadily lived, studied, and worked in a multicultural environment, I can concretely listen, understand, and cooperate with people of a wide variety of backgrounds. I learned to always put my best effort to identify the core point of an issue, in order to reach out the most effective solution. This makes me feel at ease in advising national and international clients on domestic and cross-border cases.
I contribute to the Bird & Bird BrandWrites and PatentHub blogs, while authoring legal articles in specialized law journals.
