Máté Molnár

I am a trainee associate in the IP team of the Budapest office.

I focus primarily on the protection of intellectual property rights, particularly industrial property, including patent enforcement procedures, trademark registration, opposition, cancellation and litigation proceedings, as well as alternative dispute resolution procedures related to domain names.

I participate in copyright and technology law related cases, as well as in the development of associated licensing and transfer agreements.

Besides intellectual property rights, my main area of interest encompasses the regulations pertaining to artificial intelligence, with a particular focus on their implications for copyright works and brand development.

Before joining Bird & Bird, I spent several years at another prominent law firm specializing in intellectual property.

I speak English in addition to my native Hungarian.
