As an associate in our Hamburg office and a member of our Commercial as well as the Regulatory & Administrative practice groups, I advise national and international clients in the Energy & Utilities sector.
My work focuses on renewable energies and environmental law. I support project developers, plant operators, manufacturers and contractors in all project phases. My work includes drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts, enforcing claims in and out of court, and advising on regulatory issues.
After completing my studies with a specialisation in environmental and planning law, I conducted research as a research assistant in the field of public law, particularly environmental law, at the University of Hamburg. I obtained my doctorate with a thesis on an environmental law topic. In my thesis, I examined the interplay between environmental law and the fundamentals of the law.
During my legal clerkship, I was trained in environmental, planning and public procurement law at a large German commercial law firm. I gained further practical experience as a research assistant at various international law firms in the areas of antitrust law and regulation as well as litigation.
