Michal Sluszniak

I am an associate in the Privacy and Data Protection team in Warsaw.

I have been advising clients since 2017. I am experienced in preparing privacy protection related procedures, documents, and policies for my clients. I have participated in numerous implementations and audits of documents and developed principles for compliance with privacy and personal data protection regulations.

I support clients in drafting agreements and negotiations, as well as participate in due diligence reviews of personal data processing and intellectual property rights.

I also advise on intellectual property rights, consumer rights, e-commerce, finance regulations, as well as anti-money laundering regulations and the provisions on counteracting the financing of terrorist activity.

My clients include leading companies in the finance sector (payment service providers, banks, insurance companies), the pharmaceutical industry (life science), e-commerce entities (trading platforms, service providers), IT companies (software developers, creators of innovative technologies), as well as entities from the manufacturing sector.

In my previous practice, I supported clients as a lawyer seconded to their internal legal teams and as a data protection officer (DPO).

Before joining Bird & Bird, I gained my professional experience working in renowned Polish legal practices.
