As a senior associate in our Intellectual Property Group, I advise domestic and international clients on all matters of Intellectual Property Law with a particular focus on patents, utility models and trade secrets.

I have extensive expertise in litigating patents in the fields of pharmaceuticals, medical devices, biotechnology and semiconductors. This includes infringement proceedings before the UPC and German courts as well as parallel validity proceedings (at the Federal Patent Court, the Federal Supreme Court and the EPO). Often these cases will be multi-jurisdictional which requires global coordination and advice.

Additionally, I advise on contractual IP matters and on trade secret protection.

• Defending companies against patent infringement allegations as well as enforcing patents against infringement in (cross-border) patent infringement disputes (preliminary injunction proceedings and main actions).
• Contributing to various validity proceedings (at the German Federal Patent Court, the German Federal Supreme Court and the European Patent Office).
• Analysis of intellectual property rights and their strategic enforcement.
