Dr. Philipp Niggl

As an associate in our Munich office, I advise national and international clients on all aspects of trademark, unfair competition, design, and copyright law.

I specialise in advising clients on strategic issues and litigation matters. I represent the interests of our clients, who range from global corporations to innovative start-ups, in substantial and complex litigation before civil courts.

Prior to joining Bird & Bird, I worked for several years as in-house counsel for the IP department of a large German research institution. I studied law at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität in Munich and KU Leuven in Belgium, and completed my PhD at Universität Passau.
