As an associate in Bird & Bird's office in Milan, I focus on intellectual property in the Retail & Consumer and Life Sciences sectors, advising clients on IP contracts, consumer law, unfair competition and advertising.
I have experience in various fields of intellectual property law. Currently, I mainly focus on non-contentious matters and IP contracts in the Retail & Consumer and Life Sciences sectors.
In the Retail & Consumer sector, I provide assistance on both contentious and non-contentious matters in relation to intellectual property issues, including trademark and PDO /PGI protection, unfair competition and consumer law, as well as on advertising.
I advise companies and research institutes in the Life Sciences & Healthcare sector, with particular focus on drafting, reviewing and negotiating IP related contracts, including patent and know-how licenses or assignment agreements, research agreements and non-disclosure agreements.
I have also gained experience in TMT and privacy, especially assisting Italian and international companies in GDPR compliance programs and data protection issues.
I graduated in law from the University of Milan in 2014 and I was admitted to practice law to the Verona bar association in 2017. I was also a teaching assistant in intellectual property law at the University of Verona. Before joining Bird & Bird, I worked in a boutique law firm specialised in intellectual property, as well as in the IP and TMT departments of an international law firm.
