As a member of the Intellectual Property department at the Milan office, I focus on intellectual property, consumer protection and advertising law.
I advise clients on unfair commercial practices, consumer rights and unfair terms, with a focus on e-commerce, drafting and reviewing T&Cs with consumers as well as providing assistance in proceedings before the Italian Competition and Market Authority (AGCM).
I analyse and review claims, promotional initiatives, marketing campaigns, loyalty programs, prize operations and contests under the consumer, advertising and prize promotions laws.
In the advertising field, I also assist clients in proceedings before the Italian Advertising Self-Regulation Institute (IAP) and draft and negotiate advertising-related contracts, such as sponsorship agreements and influencer/talent agreements.
In the area of intellectual property, I draft and negotiate IP license and assignment agreements, coexistence agreements, R&D agreements, NDAs, and a variety of commercial contracts. Moreover, I have a background in IP litigation.
My experience also includes providing advice to clients on a number of sustainability-related matters, including green claims, packaging, environmental labelling and ESPR. In my previous professional experience, I developed a solid background in data protection.
I graduated in Law from the University of Milan in 2014 and qualified as a lawyer in 2017. I served as teaching assistant ("cultore della materia") in Intellectual Property Law at the University of Verona. Before joining Bird & Bird, I worked in a boutique law firm specialised in intellectual property and in the IP and TMT departments of an international law firm.
