I am an associate in Bird & Bird´s Intellectual Property department in the Madrid office.
I am an Intellectual Property/Information Technologies Lawyer with deep interests in films, music, videogames, computers, and all kinds of new disruptive technologies industries.
My work mainly consists of litigation in all the core areas of Intellectual Property. The practice areas I deal with are trademarks, industrial designs - both Spanish and European Union- unfair competition, trade secrets, copyright and patents, on which, in addition, I have a particular experience on matters related to standard essential patents (SEPs) of cellular technology (including FRAND licensing negotiation).
I develop my practice in an environment of legal professionals with a long-standing practice, and always focused on providing practical legal advice to clients in their respective sectors on IP related matters. For instance, I worked in cases for clients from various industries: industrial engineering, telecommunications, alcoholic and energy beverages, household cleaning products and computers, among others.
During my spare time I always try to keep abreast of legislative developments and technological advances that may impact the industry sectors that our practice area covers. I consider myself a team player with predisposition to contribute and listen to ideas so that the best results can be achieved, thus always looking for the best interests of the client.
